A draped mesh maxi in white, where the whole dress reads as haze and only the folds hold colour. Mesh drapes unlike any other fabric — it has no weight to pull the folds down, so the draping holds its shape where a heavier cloth would collapse into it. Sheer where single-layered, opaque where the drape doubles over. The off-shoulder line opens everything above. Floor length. For summer receptions and warm-weather formal events.

Our cut runs relaxed — if you're between sizes, take the smaller one

Most of our pieces are cut easy-fit rather than close-fitting, so the usual advice to size up doesn't apply here. If your measurements fall between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Swimwear is the exception — it's cut closer to the body, so for swimwear only, take the larger size.

Shoes

Shoe sizing varies by style. Most of our shoes show a US and EU pair — for example US 8 / EU 40. Some styles show a single number instead. If you're between sizes or unsure which system a style uses, email contact@thealif.com before ordering and we'll confirm.

How to measure

Bust — around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed.
Waist — the narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
Hips — the fullest part, roughly 20cm (8") below the waist.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over underwear rather than clothing.
