A one-shoulder draped mini in yellow, warm and unexpected — the brighter of the two by a distance. The short version of the one-shoulder drape: one shoulder covered, one bare, with the fabric falling asymmetrically across the body. At mini length the diagonal is compressed into a smaller frame, which makes it read sharper and more graphic than the full-length cut. No embellishment. The cloth holds the drape and keeps the dress comfortable. For dinners, parties and nights out.

Our cut runs relaxed — if you're between sizes, take the smaller one

Most of our pieces are cut easy-fit rather than close-fitting, so the usual advice to size up doesn't apply here. If your measurements fall between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Swimwear is the exception — it's cut closer to the body, so for swimwear only, take the larger size.

Shoes

Shoe sizing varies by style. Most of our shoes show a US and EU pair — for example US 8 / EU 40. Some styles show a single number instead. If you're between sizes or unsure which system a style uses, email contact@thealif.com before ordering and we'll confirm.

How to measure

Bust — around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed.
Waist — the narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
Hips — the fullest part, roughly 20cm (8") below the waist.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over underwear rather than clothing.
