A collarless jacket in white, where the clean neckline reads sharpest and the whole piece looks deliberate. No collar and no lapel, so the neckline stays clean and the jacket ends in a simple line at the throat — which is what makes it sit under a scarf or over a high neck without bulk. The absence is the design. Cut straight through the body with a defined shoulder. Wear it open; the shape depends on it. Size for a layer underneath if it is going over knitwear.

Our cut runs relaxed — if you're between sizes, take the smaller one

Most of our pieces are cut easy-fit rather than close-fitting, so the usual advice to size up doesn't apply here. If your measurements fall between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Swimwear is the exception — it's cut closer to the body, so for swimwear only, take the larger size.

These are general body measurement ranges used across the fashion industry, not measurements taken from our garments. Use them as a starting point.

Shoes

Shoe sizing varies by style. Most of our shoes show a US and EU pair — for example US 8 / EU 40. Some styles show a single number instead. If you're between sizes or unsure which system a style uses, email contact@thealif.com before ordering and we'll confirm.

How to measure

Bust — around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed.
Waist — the narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
Hips — the fullest part, roughly 20cm (8") below the waist.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over underwear rather than clothing.
