A halter gown in warm brown with metal-edged cutouts, softer than black and closer to the skin. The metal reads warmer here and the whole dress less severe. A halter neck carries the weight from the neck rather than the shoulders, so the back and arms are left completely open — this is the most exposed dress in the group and it is deliberate. Metal embellishment marks the cutout edges, which turns the openings into a designed feature rather than absence of fabric. The asymmetric line stops the cutouts reading as symmetrical decoration. Our cut runs relaxed — if you're between sizes, take the smaller one

Most of our pieces are cut easy-fit rather than close-fitting, so the usual advice to size up doesn't apply here. If your measurements fall between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Swimwear is the exception — it's cut closer to the body, so for swimwear only, take the larger size.

Shoes

Shoe sizing varies by style. Most of our shoes show a US and EU pair — for example US 8 / EU 40. Some styles show a single number instead. If you're between sizes or unsure which system a style uses, email contact@thealif.com before ordering and we'll confirm.

How to measure

Bust — around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed.
Waist — the narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
Hips — the fullest part, roughly 20cm (8") below the waist.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over underwear rather than clothing.
