A handcrafted rose knit midi in white, where every rose is fully visible and the handwork is the whole appeal. Roses are worked into the knit by hand rather than applied afterwards, so each one sits in the structure of the fabric and none is identical to the next. That irregularity is the point and the reason the dress does not read as machine-made. Knit holds close without compression. Midi length. For daytime events, lunches and spring occasions rather than formal evenings.

⚠ Our cut runs relaxed — if you're between sizes, take the smaller one

Most of our pieces are cut easy-fit rather than close-fitting, so the usual advice to size up doesn't apply here. If your measurements fall between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Swimwear is the exception — it's cut closer to the body, so for swimwear only, take the larger size.

Shoes

Shoe sizing varies by style. Most of our shoes show a US and EU pair — for example US 8 / EU 40. Some styles show a single number instead. If you're between sizes or unsure which system a style uses, email contact@thealif.com before ordering and we'll confirm.

How to measure

Bust — around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed.
Waist — the narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
Hips — the fullest part, roughly 20cm (8") below the waist.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over underwear rather than clothing.
