A floral lace two-piece in blue, cool-toned, where the lace pattern shows most clearly against the ground. Floral lace runs continuously between top and skirt when the set is worn together, which is the reason to buy the pair rather than assemble something close. The lace carries pattern and texture at once, so nothing further is applied. Split apart, the top works over tailored trousers and the skirt under something solid. Both halves are sized together, so order the same size in each.

⚠ Our cut runs relaxed — if you're between sizes, take the smaller one

Most of our pieces are cut easy-fit rather than close-fitting, so the usual advice to size up doesn't apply here. If your measurements fall between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Swimwear is the exception — it's cut closer to the body, so for swimwear only, take the larger size.

Shoes

Shoe sizing varies by style. Most of our shoes show a US and EU pair — for example US 8 / EU 40. Some styles show a single number instead. If you're between sizes or unsure which system a style uses, email contact@thealif.com before ordering and we'll confirm.

How to measure

Bust — around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed.
Waist — the narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
Hips — the fullest part, roughly 20cm (8") below the waist.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over underwear rather than clothing.
