Tie cargo overalls in khaki, the classic ground, where the pockets read as structure rather than as detail. Ties at the shoulder replace the usual buckle fastening, so the fit adjusts by knot rather than by hardware — softer at the shoulder and easier to get in and out of. Cargo pockets add width at the thigh. Wear them over a plain top or bare in summer. Check the inseam on the product page; it varies by style.

Most of our pieces are cut easy-fit rather than close-fitting, so the usual advice to size up doesn't apply here. If your measurements fall between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Swimwear is the exception — it's cut closer to the body, so for swimwear only, take the larger size.

Shoes

Shoe sizing varies by style. Most of our shoes show a US and EU pair — for example US 8 / EU 40. Some styles show a single number instead. If you're between sizes or unsure which system a style uses, email contact@thealif.com before ordering and we'll confirm.

How to measure

Bust — around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed.
Waist — the narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
Hips — the fullest part, roughly 20cm (8") below the waist.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over underwear rather than clothing.
