A two-button blazer in white, the sharper of the two, where the lapel roll shows as a clean line. Two buttons rather than one gives a longer lapel roll and a narrower opening, which is the more formal of the two arrangements and the reason this reads as proper tailoring. Cut straight through the body with a defined shoulder. Wear it buttoned as a statement or open over a dress. Size on the shoulder; that is what cannot be adjusted.

⚠ Our cut runs relaxed — if you're between sizes, take the smaller one

Most of our pieces are cut easy-fit rather than close-fitting, so the usual advice to size up doesn't apply here. If your measurements fall between two sizes, take the smaller one.

Swimwear is the exception — it's cut closer to the body, so for swimwear only, take the larger size.

Shoes

Shoe sizing varies by style. Most of our shoes show a US and EU pair — for example US 8 / EU 40. Some styles show a single number instead. If you're between sizes or unsure which system a style uses, email contact@thealif.com before ordering and we'll confirm.

How to measure

Bust — around the fullest part, tape level, arms relaxed.
Waist — the narrowest part, usually just above the navel.
Hips — the fullest part, roughly 20cm (8") below the waist.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over underwear rather than clothing.
